An active person Judy loves the outdoors with a special focus on mountain biking and road cycling, hiking,skiing, sailing, horse riding and gardening. Due to Judy’s passion for hiking she has now obtained a concession enabling her to offer uniquely personal day hiking trips to some of the Southern Lakes most scenic wilderness areas.
Her in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the areas she is fortunate enough to work in ensures her clients enjoy not only an enjoyable but also an informative experience.
Judy has a keen focus on safety in the outdoors and holds all necessary first aid qualifications.

Introducing your guide - Judy Mckenzie
Judy has extensive experience as a professional tour guide after 18 years working at the top end of the industry.
During that time she has escorted groups throughout New Zealand as well as working with families and individuals on a more personal basis, on custom made tours in the South Island. She is passionate about New Zealand and has an intimate knowledge of the history, culture and attractions of the country.
Judy graduated as a general nurse in 1976 and has travelled throughout the world, working in the nursing field in Australia, the UK and South Africa before settling in Queenstown in 1988.
