WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Judy McKenzie, Owner of Elite & Personal Tours, has been operating out of Queenstown and looking after Clients' around the South Island for over 20 years.

Joined by her son Philip, and daughter-in-law Paula, we bring to you a locally owned and operated, family oriented business with a genuine, professional and enthusiastic approach that is sure to impress any visitor to New Zealand.

Our team is made up of a small group of professional Guides, and we specialise in personalising our products for each and every Client’s specific requirements. We rely on industry experience, vendor knowledge, longstanding industry relationships, and intimate local knowledge with insider connections, to ensure your travelling experiences surpass your expectations. Judy is the Tour Director for the Australia and New Zealand: The Lands Down Under Tour for Abercrombie & Kent, a luxury small group journey exploring these two inspiring destinations through a diverse range of landscapes from the Outback of Australia to the glaciers of New Zealand.
SPECIALISED TOURS
NATURAL HABITAT ADVENTURES
Judy represents Natural Habitat Adventures (NatHab) - partner to the World Wildlife Fund, as the Nature Guide of the New Zealand Nature Explorer Tour, and has done so for the past several years. Guests are immersed in nature at its showiest and also experience the human side of New Zealand by meeting sheep farmers, learning about the Maori culture and finding a bit of Scottish heritage in the South Pacific.
OUR COMMITMENT TO HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our Guides and our Clients' is important to us. New Zealand’s key work health and safety legislation is the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) and regulations made under that Act.
Elite & Personal Tours is compliant with this legislation, and holds a current AdventureMark White Certification. This certification demonstrates that our Safety Management Plan (SMP) has been independently audited.
To maintain this certification and our committment, Elite & Personal Tours conducts regular reviews of our SMP and its policies, and the audit is conducted every 3 years.
CONSERVATION
At Elite & Personal Tours, we are passionate about the environment. We understand its uniqueness and fragile state, which is why we take our responsibility seriously, to help protect and preserve the environment. That is why we make charitable donations to the local Wakatipu Wildlife Trust, supporting the predator-free Arrowtown programme to help control pests, and protect the native species such as the bellbird, rifleman and the brown creeper.
