Phil A true local of the Central Otago region, specifically the picturesque lakeside resort town of Queenstown. Growing up with the charming settlement of Arrowtown as his backyard, Phil has been immersed in the abundant environmental and geographical wonders that this region has to offer. His intimate knowledge of the area, combined with his background in adventure sports, has allowed him to personally experience the beauty and uniqueness of this stunning part of New Zealand.

Phil's journey took an exciting turn when he joined the Royal New Zealand Navy as a Clearance Diver at the young age of 17. Over the years, he honed his skills and expertise, eventually resigning as a Leading Diver with specialised training in leadership, people management, and advanced diving and medical skills. Following his naval career, Phil ventured into offshore diving, exploring various parts of the world before settling in Perth, Australia for five years.  However, his love for his homeland brought him back to New Zealand, where he now resides with his family in the scenic Lake Hayes of the Queenstown region, pursuing his passion as a private Driver Guide.

Phil's true calling lies in sharing his knowledge, enthusiasm, and deep love for New Zealand's culture, history, and breathtaking scenery. As a Guide, he ensures that his Clients have every opportunity to experience the very best that New Zealand has to offer. With a strong sense of connection to the outdoors, Phil imparts his passion for nature to his Clients, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all. Rest assured, Phil is also Advanced First Aid and CPR qualified, prioritising the safety and wellbeing of those under his care.
