TRACEY MACLAREN

Driver Guide

Tracey is a long term resident of the Wakatipu Basin, having spent the last 26 years working and living in Queenstown with the last 13-years residing in Arrowtown.
Tracey grew up in Invercargill a little over 50-years ago, and educated at Otago University completing a Post Graduate qualification in Dietetics.
She then went on to pursue a 7-year overseas experience, which lead her to travel extensively around Europe, taking her working career in to the field of hospitality where she held management positions with an European Travel Company – Contiki Travel Ltd.
On her return to New Zealand and Queenstown 23 years ago, she took up a management position at the Queenstown Lodge for 4-years, then joined Real Journeys as the Assistant Manger of Queenstown, and then went on to become the General Manager of Operations, which saw her working for a total of 17-years with Real Journeys in Tourism Management.
Tracey has recently completed 12-months working for Destination Queenstown managing the Queenstown Convention Bureau, working closely with the Conference and Incentive market.
Tracey is currently enjoying living in Arrowtown, is self-employed, and contracting herself as a Driver Guide, Host and Concierge.

Tracey is First Aid and CPR qualified.
